Edwin Tuyn

Managing Director

Edwin Tuyn is founder of Inspired-Search. As far as he is concerned, in-depth professional knowledge always goes hand in hand with passion and inspiration – he also looks for the enthusiasm that he experiences in his work in his work.

Edwin primarily focuses on senior executive search for permanent and interim positions. His expertise lies mainly in life science (Pharma/MedTech), FMCG/CPG/food, fashion/apparel, start-ups and scale-ups and logistics services, but he also has a thorough background and networks in other industries. He is also involved in the development and day-to-day management of the entire organization.

Experience

Edwin has been active in logistics and supply chain management since the late 1980s and has a very extensive network that he actively maintains. He has over twenty years of experience in various operational management and executive positions and has also worked as an independent organizational consultant in various industries. In recent years Edwin has specialized more in the development of people in the supply chain and in leadership. In 2004 he developed and published the map ‘The Climb to Leadership’. As a heart & headhunter, Edwin has realized a large number of successful and sometimes creative matches between organizations and candidates for more than fifteen years. Edwin lives and works alternately in the Netherlands and Brazil.

Qualifications

Edwin is a graduate of the Maritime Academy, holds an MBA from Kingston University (London, UK) and Haarlem Business School, and is certified by the American Production & Inventory Control Society as a CPIM. Furthermore, Edwin has followed various courses on creative thinking, leadership and coaching. He is also a Certified Spiral Dynamics Consultant. In 2019 Edwin followed the Supervisory Board cycle, including the Remuneration & Appointment Committee specialization.

Activities and interests

Edwin regularly speaks about supply chain management and about creative and inspiring leadership. In addition, he is regularly asked to act as conference chair or discussion leader at international events on supply chain management. In his spare time Edwin is a passionate nature and landscape photographer.

Oskar Verkamman

Managing Director

Oskar Verkamman is one of the founders of Inspired-Group and has been involved with Inspired-Search since 2011. Matching the right people to the right positions, with a keen eye for the cultural match, has been his focus since the beginning of his career. As an international entrepreneur and supply chain & logistics professional, Oskar has extensive experience in international executive recruitment for national and international (listed) companies.

Oskar mainly deals with searches for permanent and interim senior executives. His focus is on industries, logistics service providers and private investors in the Netherlands, Europe and Asia. In addition, the development activities and the day-to-day management of the organization fall under his responsibilities.

Experience

Since the 1990s, Oskar has completed several executive positions in supply chain and logistics management. He started as operations director at the newly established Telfort. He then was responsible for EMEA operations at Dell. Also included are the integration of the IBM PC division’s EMEA operations with Lenovo and a major global project for a Chinese technology company. Oskar spent part of his working life abroad, including in China, where he also lived. great interest in multicultural teams and in business culture comes from there.

Qualifications

After graduating in business administration and during his career, Oskar has continuously developed further in the field of inspiring leadership, operational excellence, personal profiling and business management.

Activities and interests

Oskar regularly speaks and blogs about supply chain and operations management. He maintains an international network of professionals and companies and is a frequent speaker, moderator and chairman at industry-specific conferences. He hosted the EFT Asia Supply Chain summit in Singapore for many years. He also holds board positions at various non-profit organizations. In his spare time Oskar likes to play sports. He is a lover of adventurous outdoor activities. In 2020 he wrote the book The man across the street about one of these activities.
